TUCSON, Ariz. – FC Tucson announced on Tuesday it had signed defender Luke Hauswirth for the 2019 USL League One season. Per club policy, the details of the contract will not be released.
“Being a part of FC Tucson’s first professional season is very special for me because it is also my first year as a pro,” said Hauswirth. “I see this as a great opportunity with a quality group of players and staff that will have a successful first season.”
Hauswirth was a versatile midfielder and defender at the University of Washington from 2013-2018. A four-year starter, he made 74 starts and registered three goals and three assists during his collegiate career.
