CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Chattanooga Red Wolves SC today announced the signing of all-time NAIA leading scorer, Stefan Cvetanović, pending league and federation approval.

The 27-year-old forward played collegiately at Oklahoma Wesleyan University from 2018 to 2023 where he accumulated 141 goals - despite tearing his ACL two times during that span. In his senior year, Cvetanović became the NAIA's all-time leading goalscorer with 141, after scoring 39 goals with a 33.6% goals per shot efficiency in his senior season. During the Oct. 2020 season, Cvetanović set an NAIA record with 11 goals in a single match as his Eagles defeated Avila University 27-0 to match an NAIA record for most goals scored by a team in a single contest.

Throughout his college career, he earned extensive honors, being named the 2023 NAIA Player of the Year, a four-time NAIA All-American, a two-time KCAC Player of the Year, a four-time KCAC Offensive Player of the Year, a four-time First Team All-Region selection, and a four-time KCAC First Team selection, among others.

The Šuljam, Serbia native began his career with lower-division Serbian side FK Dorćol, appearing in the Serbian Cup in 2014. The forward made his professional debut in the Montenegrin First League with FK Zeta in Sept. 2015 and went on to make an additional trio of appearances with the top-flight club in the 2015 Montenegrin Cup. In 2017, Cvetanović was named to the bench in a pair of league matches for second-division Bosnian club NK Zvijezda Gradačac.

While in college, Cvetanović briefly trialed with French Championnat National side Stade Lavallois Mayenne FC, joining the club for a friendly in Aug. 2019.

After his move to the United States for college in 2018, Cvetanović joined NPSL side Tusla Athletic for the 2023 U.S. Open Cup, scoring the match-winning goal against USL League Two side Brazos Valley Cavalry FC in the First Round. Cvetanović was an unused substitute in Tulsa Athletic's Second Round victory over USL Championship side and local rival FC Tulsa - the club's first victory over a professional side - before he played 24 minutes of Tulsa's 3-0 Third Round loss at Major League Soccer side Sporting Kansas City.

"I'm honored to be joining Chattanooga Red Wolves SC," Cvetanović said. "I can't wait to bring my best to the field, contribute to the team's success and share some incredible moments with the amazing fans! I'm ready for a season full of passion, teamwork and victories."

"Stefan is a player we are all very excited about," said Red Wolves Head Coach Scott Mackenzie. "His goal record in college is, frankly, otherworldly. His pace, willingness to run behind, movement off the ball, and qualities with both feet make him a great fit for the Red Wolves and an exciting player for the fans to get behind. He is someone that I think will add significant firepower to our attack this year."
