STATESBORO, Ga – South Georgia Tormenta FC on Monday announced the addition of attacker Sebastián Vivas on a one-year deal with an option for 2025, pending league and federation approval. The 27-year-old goalscorer joins the club following a successful 2023 campaign with Argentine side Club Sportivo Dock Sud in the third-tier Primera B Metropolitana.

During the 2023 campaign, Vivas started 31 of his 32 appearances while accumulating 2,658 minutes. He netted 13 goals for Dock Sud including a hat trick against Deportivo Merlo on April 6, 2023. Vivas finished tied for first in the Golden Boot race 13 goals. His contributions earned him a place in the Primera B Metropolitan Best XI for the 2023 season.

Vivas and Dock Sud finished second in the 2023 Primera B Metropolitana Apertura and 15th in the Primera B Metropolitana Clausura.

Prior to joining Dock Sud, Vivas spent two seasons in the fourth-division Primera C with Deportivo Español. During the 2021 and 2022 season, Vivas tallied 16 total goals netting eight goals in each campaign.
