GREENVILLE, S.C. - Greenville Triumph SC today announced the signing of 24-year-old midfielder Carlos Anguiano, pending league and federation approval.

The Salem, Ore. native began his career within the Portland Timbers' academy system before making his debut with Portland Timbers 2 in the USL Championship in 2017. Anguiano was signed to a professional contract with T2 ahead of the 2019 USL Championship season. Anguiano made 50 appearances and totaled nine goal contributions with T2 between 2017 and 2020.

In 2021, the midfielder made 28 appearances and scored three goals for Tacoma Defiance in the USL Championship. A year later, Anguiano moved to fellow Championship side Phoenix Rising FC. Across a pair of seasons in Phoenix, Anguiano made 19 appearances for Rising and helped the club claim the 2023 USL Championship title. The midfielder also played all 90 minutes of Phoenix's U.S. Open Cup Second Round contest against Greenville in 2023.

A former USL 20 Under 20 honoree, Anguiano was also called up for a training camp with the United States U-16 Men's Youth National Team in 2015.
