TAMPA, Fla. – Chattanooga Red Wolves SC forward Chevone Marsh has been voted USL League One Player of the Month presented by Konami eFootball for August. Marsh's recognition marks the third time in club history a Red Wolf has been named League One Player of the Month.

After stops in Finland, Jamaica, El Salvador and Costa Rica, Marsh has enjoyed a career season in his first professional run in the United States. The former Jamaica international scored a goal in four consecutive matches - matching a 2023 league record - and created a trio of chances, all while completing nearly 90% of his passes across his six August matches.

Marsh opened his August account with a 78th-minute winner against the Richmond Kickers on Aug. 12 just nine minutes after subbing on. Marsh went on to tally goals against a pair of formidable opponents, scoring Chattanooga's lone goals against Omaha on Aug. 19 and Greenville on Aug. 23. Rounding out his career-best fourth goal in four matches, Marsh registered the Red Wolves' third goal in a 4-4 thriller against their 2022 USL League One Final opponent, South Georgia Tormenta FC, on Aug. 26.

"I don’t have words right now, I feel very happy to be named Player of the Month for August," Marsh said. "I appreciate the fans, my teammates, the coaching staff, my family and friends. I’m really happy to be Player of the Month."

"Thoroughly deserved," Interim Head Coach Scott Mackenzie said. "Marsh's been a top player and top contributor for us. He comes into the club his first year with a high-level pedigree and he’s shown why. He's made leaps and bounds playing for us. When he's on the pitch he impacts the result and the scoreline. He's been great for us."

Marsh received 35.6% of a weighted poll that included the USL League One Technical Committee and an online fan vote held at USLLeagueOne.com. Forward Madison FC forward Jayden Onen finished second on 26.2% with his three goals and two assists, while Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC forward and Golden Boot leader Trevor Amann finished third on 20.6% with a four-goal August.
