TUCSON, Ariz. – FC Tucson added to its inaugural roster on Wednesday as the club announced the signing of midfielder Colin Stripling for the 2019 USL League One season, pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, the details of the contract will not be released.
Stripling, who played collegiately at Monmouth University, joins the Arizona side after a successful trial with the club. A four-year starter for the Hawks, he recorded 15 goals and nine assists over his collegiate career.
Stripling also brings experience from USL League Two, where he had a brief tenure with the Seattle Sounders FC U-23s.
“I’ve been chasing my dream of becoming a professional since I started kicking a soccer ball,” said Stripling. “To be recognized during a trial and get signed as a result makes me feel extremely proud. For FC Tucson to give me this opportunity to start my pro career means the world to my family and me. I will give everything I have for this club and its supporters.”
