LANSING, Mich. – In preparation for the inaugural USL League One season, Lansing Ignite FC revealed its 2019 preseason schedule on Wednesday. The club will hit the road for two matches against USL Championship sides Indy Eleven and Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC before returning to Michigan to face Western Michigan University and Davenport University.
Ignite FC will begin its preseason schedule with an indoor matchup against Indy on Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. ET from the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana. Lansing will then travel to Pittsburgh to play Riverhounds SC on March 3, with kickoff at Highmark Stadium set for 12 p.m. ET.

“The preseason schedule we have will enable us to test the squad during our intensive training period,” Ignite FC Head Coach Nate Miller said. “We want to test ourselves against some of the top clubs in the USL, as well as get a good grasp of the depth of our team throughout the preseason.”
Players are set to report to Lansing for preseason training in mid-February. After completing its preseason schedule, Ignite FC will kick off its League One campaign on the road against the Richmond Kickers on March 30, before hosting its home opener against the Kickers on April 13 at 7 p.m. ET.
