Denmark-based apparel company will provide team’s uniforms for next three years

MADISON, Wisc. – Forward Madison FC announced on Monday that the club has agreed to a three-year partnership with Danish apparel company Hummel to provide the team's uniforms and equipment.

Hummel is an internationally-renowned brand that works with a number of soccer teams around the world, including the Danish national team, Scottish club Rangers FC and German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg, among others. Hummel will create home, away, alternate and goalkeeper jerseys for the team, as well as a range of training gear.

According to Forward Madison FC Managing Director Peter Wilt, the Hummel partnership gives the club the opportunity to have both a high-quality jersey and a unique design.

“We are thrilled to partner with Hummel for the next three seasons,” Wilt said. “Hummel is a historic European soccer brand with quality gear for players and fans. We look forward to sharing the creative jersey designs for the home, away, alternate and goalkeeper kits. In Hummel gear our players will look and feel good, and fans will be able to wear the same jerseys as the players.”

The jersey design for the inaugural season will be revealed to fans in the coming weeks and go on sale in March 2019.

"We are extremely proud that Forward Madison FC has chosen Hummel to be its first-ever jersey provider," said President of Hummel USA Jeff Duback. "We believe Forward Madison is developing one of the most unique and recognizable brands across the landscape of American soccer, and with Hummel as its partner, Madison will have one of the most unique and recognizable jersey designs as well.

“Over the next three years we will endeavor to provide the players, staff and most importantly the supporters of Forward Madison FC with an exceptional range of products both on and off the field and we look forward to joining them on their journey in this inaugural campaign and beyond.”
