Toronto FC II Adds Forward Jordan Perruzza

Appeared in four matches, scored two goals for TFC II during 2018 USL Championship season

Toronto FC II announced today that the club has signed forward Jordan Perruzza. The club has now signed a total of 43 Toronto FC Academy players to professional contracts for Toronto FC and Toronto FC II. Perruzza will be added to the roster following league and federation approval.

Perruzza, 17, appeared in four matches for TFC II, scoring two goals during the 2018 USL regular season. He made his professional debut on Sept. 16 against FC Cincinnati and scored his first goal on Oct. 5 against Louisville City FC. 

Perruzza made his debut in the Canadian youth program at an identification camp in 2015 when he was 14 years old. He most recently represented the U-20 Canadian team at the 2018 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship.

Perruzza originally joined the TFC Academy in December 2012. He moved to Italy in 2013, joining Empoli F.C.’s Academy before returning to the TFC in July 2018.
