TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the nominees for the USL Championship Player of the Month presented by Konami eFootball for October, honoring four of the top performers through the final month of the 2025 regular season.
Voting for the Championship Player of the Month award will be conducted by the following three voting bodies:
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 6.
Please note: The League One Player of the Month selection process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards, such as Championship Player of the Year or position players of the year. Additionally, the selection process takes both USL Championship and USL Jägermeister Cup matches into consideration.
Babacar Diene, One Knoxville SC – The Senegalese forward led all players with six goal contributions, recording three goals and three assists in five appearances to average a goal contribution every 71.7 minutes while leading the league with a +2.27 Goals Added mark.
Yaniv Bazini, South Georgia Tormenta FC – Bazini recorded two goals and two assists across four appearances, averaging a goal contribution every 82.5 minutes while recording a 60 percent shot accuracy rate and leading the team with +1.24 Goals Added mark.
Adrian Billhardt, Richmond Kickers – The German playmaker recorded two goals and two assists in four appearances, averaging a goal contribution every 67.8 minutes while posting a 50 percent shooting accuracy rate and ranking eighth in the league with a +1.47 Goals Added mark.
Juan Carlos Obregon Jr., Westchester SC – The Honduran international tied for the league-high with three goals to wrap up the League One Golden Boot while averaging a goal every 120 minutes and recording a +1.51 Goals Added mark, good for sixth in the league for the month.
