Team to remain in Texoma region, establish professional club in North Texas

TAMPA, Fla. – The United Soccer League announced that Texoma FC will compete in USL League Two for the 2026 season, continuing to grow soccer in Texoma and the surrounding region by joining the premier pre-professional league in the United States.

Since its foundation in 2023, Texoma FC has been committed to creating a pathway for soccer players in the area. The club fielded seven teams across four different USL Youth boys’ and girls’ age groups. The U12 boys team qualified for the 2025 Electrolit USL Youth Finals this December in Tampa, Florida.

League Two has a proud tradition of developing young talent and connecting deeply with fans. With over 140 clubs across 37 states, it provides a platform for emerging pre-professional and college players to showcase their skills, many of whom go on to play professionally.

Texoma FC remains committed to its youth programs and academy, ensuring local players have a clear pathway to higher levels of soccer.

The club’s ownership is committed to long-term investment in infrastructure and the future of League One in North Texas, and more details will be announced in the coming weeks.
