TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the Team of the Week for Week 29 of the 2025 regular season, with Union Omaha midfielder Sergio Ors named Player of the Week presented by Konami eFootball after recording four goals across two appearances for Los Buhos.
The first-year pro from Spain made a decisive impact for Omaha in its midweek clash with Spokane Velocity FC, coming off the bench with 23 minutes to go before scoring two goals in a four-minute span to earn the side a 2-2 draw at Werner Park. Ors struck first with a close-range header in the 88th minute before putting home a fine finish in the first minute of second-half stoppage time to level the game.
Ors picked up where he left off on Sunday evening as he returned to the starting lineup, scoring twice in the first 15 minutes against One Knoxville SC. The 24-year-old ended the week having notched seven shots and completing 20 of 23 passes as the defending League One title-holders picked up key points in their pursuit of a fifth consecutive trip to the postseason.
“I think as a group we can be proud of the two performances we put in this past week,” said Ors. “We showed great quality, created good chances, and proved once again that we are capable of competing with the very best teams in the league. It’s encouraging to still be in a playoff position after two tough games, but there’s also a feeling that we could have taken all three points in both matches, which would have put us in an even stronger place on the table.
“That said, I have full belief in this team. We have a great group of players and staff who are committed, hardworking, and confident in what we can achieve together. Now our focus has to be on the final stretch of the season, securing as many wins as possible, building momentum, and putting ourselves in the best position not only to make the playoff cut but also to carry that form into the postseason.”
