DISCIPLINE REPORT – WEEK 29

The following is USL League One's discipline report for Week 29 of the 2025 regular season.

Union Omaha forward Pato Botello Faz has been suspended for one match following his red card for two cautionable offenses in the regular season match against Westchester SC on Sept. 13. Botello Faz will be unavailable for selection in Omaha's regular season contest against Spokane Velocity FC on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

Greenville Triumph SC head coach Rick Wright has been suspended for one match following his red card for two cautionable offenses in the regular season match against South Georgia Tormenta FC on Sept. 13. Wright will be unavailable for Greenville's regular season contest against Forward Madison FC on Saturday, Sept. 20.

The following players and/or coaches enter the upcoming matches one caution away from their eighth yellow card of the season and a one-game suspension for caution accumulation.

Here is the breakdown per club:

  • Texoma FC (2): Jordan Chavez, Adrian Forbes

NEWS & NOTES

GARCIA GOALKEEPING CLINIC

Texoma FC goalkeeper Javier Garcia is enjoying a career resurgence in Sherman, Texas, setting league records in his first season in League One. Not only did Garcia become the first goalkeeper in league history to save two penalty kicks in a single match against Spokane over the weekend, but the 27-year-old McAllen, Texas native became the first goalkeeper to save five penalty kicks in a single regular season.

Garcia's five penalty kick saves match the all-time league record jointly held by former Charlotte and current South Georgia goalkeeper Austin Pack. Additionally, Texoma's 71% penalty kick save percentage is the highest in league history among teams that have faced three or more penalty kicks.

"I'm very honored to have my name in the history books this season," said Garcia. "I always strive to give my best performance every game. I am very grateful to the team and staff for trusting me, as we work hard every day to accomplish our goals. All my gratitude goes to God for allowing me to achieve all these accomplishments.

"My family plays a great part in motivating me and my performances. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them smile and me being able to make them proud. To all the fans, I am always so grateful for their continued support of the team, the staff and myself."

DERBY DAYS

As League One's seventh season comes to a close, several series have now been played more than 20 times. Despite an influx of expansion clubs in recent years, several founding members of the league have built strong regional and cultural rivalries, as demonstrated by the 25th Peach States Derby and 18th Henny Derby over the weekend.

Most-played series amongst active USL League One clubs, across all competitions:

  1. Greenville vs. South Georgia - 25 (11-10-4, TRM)
  2. Charlotte vs. Richmond - 24 (12-5-7, CLT)
  3. Chattanooga vs. Richmond - 20 (12-6-2, CHA)
  4. Greenville vs. Chattanooga - 20 (11-5-4, GVL)
  5. South Georgia vs. Chattanooga - 19 (8-7-4, TRM)
  6. Richmond vs. South Georgia - 19 (6-5-8, RIC)
