Omaha's Ryan Becher named Player of the Week with brace, assist in midweek win

TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the Team of the Week for Week 25 of the 2025 regular season, with Union Omaha midfielder Ryan Becher named Player of the Week presented by Konami eFootball with a brace and an assist in a 4-1 victory against the Charlotte Independence on Wednesday.

In Omaha's biggest win since downing Spokane, 3-0, in the 2024 USL League One Final, Becher's first professional brace powered the Owls to a massive midweek result and lifted them above the playoff line for the first time this season. The St Louis CITY2 loanee and second-year professional has already accrued seven goals and two assists through just 12 appearances with the defending champions this season.

"We are proud that Union Omaha players are being highlighted by the league for the quality they bring to our collective group," said Omaha's interim head coach, Vincenzo Candela.
