OMAHA, Neb. – Union Omaha announced on Friday the club had signed forward Pato Botello Faz to a 25-day contract. The Mexican veteran will be available for selection in Los Buhos’ contest against Forward Madison FC on Saturday night at Breese Stevens Field.
Faz returns to League One having most recently competed for Las Vegas Lights FC in the 2023 USL Championship season. The 28-year-old recorded 12 goals and one assist in 49 appearances in the Championship, having previously spent the 2022 campaign at Detroit City FC.
A native of Monterrey, Faz had previously competed for Lansing Ignite (2019) and South Georgia Tormenta (2020) FC in League One, recording seven goals and three assists in 32 appearances across two seasons.
