MADISON, Wis. - Forward Madison FC today announced it will face Tigres UANL's U-23 team in an international friendly at Breese Stevens Field on June 25 at 8 p.m. ET. The friendly marks the first-ever meeting between the sides and continues FMFC's annual tradition of hosting an international friendly at Breese Stevens Field.
"We are excited to continue this club tradition of hosting international friendlies," said Forward Madison FC COO Conor Caloia. "Tigres is a global brand, and we look forward to having their reserve team in Madison."
"We're happy to play an international exhibition against Tigres U-23s," said Madison Head Coach & Technical Director Matt Glaeser. "The notoriety and history of that club speaks for itself. It will be an exciting test for our guys to go up against their top young players."
In the past, Madison has also played host to several second-division Mexican sides: CD Tapatío in 2024, Atlante FC in 2023, Pumas Tabasco in 2022, Club Atlético Morelia in 2021, and Leones Negros UdeG in front of nearly 5,000 fans in 2019.
