TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the four nominees for the League One Player of the Month presented by Konami eFootball for March, with top performers from the seventh season's first month selected for the ballot.
Voting for the League One Player of the Month award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:

A fan vote on USLLeagueOne.com will comprise 60% of the poll. The fan vote will run through Monday, April 7 at 12 p.m. ET.

The USL Technical Committee's ballots comprise 40% of the poll.
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Thursday, April 10.
Please note: The League One Player of the Month selection process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Player of the Year or position players of the year.
USL LEAGUE ONE PLAYER OF THE MONTH NOMINEES – March
- F - Leo Castro, Greenville Triumph SC: The decorated 35-year-old veteran kicked off his third season in Greenville with two goals, one assist and one penalty won to help Triumph SC to a 1-1-1 start to the regular season. Through three matches and 267 minutes in March, Castro totaled 18 duels won, five chances created and five shots on target.
- M - Darwin Espinal, Richmond Kickers: One of the most productive lower-division goalscorers in recent years, Espinal started his first month in League One with one goal and two assists to help Richmond finish the month second in the table. In 323 minutes of action, the 30-year-old registered a 79% passing accuracy rate, 13 duels won, 12 recoveries and four chances created.
- F - Karsen Henderlong, FC Naples: Albeit early, Henderlong leads the Golden Boot race after a three-goal start to his first full season as a professional. Across 359 minutes in March, the 24-year-old has helped first-year side Naples to an unbeaten start to the season with his 12 recoveries, five dribbles completed, four shots on target and two chances created.
- F - Juan Carlos Obregón, Jr., Westchester SC: The 2024 USL League One All-League First Team forward provided a goal, an assist and a penalty kick won in Westchester's unbeaten 1-0-1 start to its inaugural season. Through a pair of matches, the Honduras international totaled 10 duels won, four shots on target, all while completing 73% of his passes.
