After Second Round exits in both of its first two U.S. Open Cup appearances, South Georgia Tormenta FC is a win away from progressing to the Third Round of the tournament for the fourth consecutive season. The Ibises will have their hands full with FORO SC, though, as the UPSL side is coming off its first win over a professional side - Texoma FC - in the First Round and boasts a roster featuring former League One champions Gibran Rayo and Jorge Almaguer. The Ibises will look to remain perfect against amateur opposition in U.S. Open Cup play this Tuesday.

Following its extra-time victory against the Long Island Rough Riders in the First Round, the Charlotte Independence advanced to the Second Round of the U.S. Open Cup for the ninth time in as many tries. The Jacks will face an MLS NEXT Pro side for the first time as Carolina Core FC - also facing USL League One opposition for the first time - will make the short trek from High Point, N.C. to Matthews, N.C. The matchup marks the seventh different opponent from North Carolina the Jacks have faced in official competition.

LAFC's developmental squad is unbeaten across all competitions this season and is coming off a 7-1 First Round victory against the NPSL's FC Arizona, while Antelope Valley is seeking its first-ever victory against a professional opponent following its First Round win against USL League Two's Ventura County Fusion.

Portland Hearts of Pine's biggest test yet will come in the form of USL Championship side and budding regional rival Hartford Athletic. In a USL Jägermeister Cup preview, Hearts will look to remain perfect early in their debut season and claim their first-ever victory against a professional opponent. Hartford - aiming to advance to the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup for the fifth time in as many tries - will be hungry to earn its second victory of the season after starting its USL Championship campaign with three consecutive losses.

After years of anticipation, the first matchup between Chattanooga Red Wolves SC and MLS NEXT Pro side Chattanooga FC will finally take place. Both the Red Wolves and CFC are unbeaten across all competitions this season, and Finley Stadium should be packed as a trip to the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup - which would be the Red Wolves' second and CFC's sixth - will be on the line.

7 p.m. ET
Stadium IconPaladin Stadium, Greenville, S.C.

Greenville Triumph SC and One Knoxville SC will match up for the first time this season, and One Knox will surely be looking forward to taking down the team that eliminated them from both the U.S. Open Cup and the USL League One Playoffs a season ago. Since Knoxville downed Greenville in the pair's first meeting back in 2022, Triumph SC has gone on to tally five wins and one draw against Knoxville. In the first U.S. Open Cup match between League One opponents this season, Knoxville has a chance to advance to the Third Round for the first time in club history, while Greenville can advance to the Third Round for the third time in the last four seasons.

New York Pancyprian-Freedoms

Stadium IconThe Stadium at Memorial Field, Mount Vernon, N.Y.

Westchester SC's first competitive match at The Stadium at Memorial Field will be a big one, as the League One newcomers face off against the three-time U.S. Open Cup champion New York Pancyprian-Freedoms. The Queens-based Pancyprian-Freedoms advanced to the Second Round after downing MLS NEXT Pro's FC Cincinnati 2 in a penalty kick shootout - the first time the 51-year-old side has advanced beyond a professional side in the U.S. Open Cup since 2011. WSC has enjoyed a strong start to its inaugural season; the newcomers are riding a three-match unbeaten streak and a two-match winning streak.

Forward Madison FC is facing USL Championship opposition for the first time since 2019, hosting an FC Tulsa side that has won four of its first five matches of a season for the first time in club history. The first USL League One-USL Championship matchup at Breese Stevens Field could be a toss-up; Madison is 1-2 against higher-division opposition, while Tulsa is 5-3 against lower-division opposition.

Wednesday, April 2

7:30 p.m. ET
Stadium IconParadise Coast Sports Complex, Naples, Fla.

With five matches unbeaten to start its inaugural campaign, FC Naples is now three matches away from tying the record for longest unbeaten streak to begin an inaugural League One season, across all competitions. To reduce that number to two, Naples will need to advance beyond USL League Two's Little Rock Rangers, who just pulled off the largest cupset of this season's tournament with a 1-0 victory against USL Championship side Birmingham Legion FC in the First Round.

8:30 p.m. ET
Stadium IconValley Stadium, West Des Moines, Iowa

Union Omaha will need to get past USL League Two power Des Moines Menace in order to reach the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup for the fourth time in as many tries. It's the third Second Round meeting between Omaha and Des Moines since 2022, though this time the match will be held in Iowa and feature an even stronger Menace roster than a season ago. The Owls have accrued a perfect 4-0-0 record against USL League Two opposition all-time, but have never faced a League Two side with a roster consisting of Ozzie Alonso, A.J. DeLaGarza, Matt Hedges, Sacha Kljestan, Dax McCarty and Bradley Wright-Phillips, among a plethora of other decorated veterans.

Wednesday, April 2
Tacoma Defiance

Stadium IconStarfire Sports Stadium, Tukwila, Wash.

Spokane Velocity FC will round out League One's participation in the Second Round with its first-ever matchup with an MLS NEXT Pro side, heading across Washington to take on Tacoma Defiance for a chance to advance to the Third Round for the second consecutive season. Spokane is coming off its largest victory in club history, a 4-0 thrashing of Greenville over the weekend, and should be able to carry some of that momentum over to Tacoma.
