USL League One's seventh season is here! Ahead of Week 3, find information for this week's matches, the Discipline Report, News & Notes, and current player, team and league records below.

Saturday, March 22

Big picture

  • Before officially opening up its new stadium for league play on April 5, AV ALTA FC will travel across the country this weekend and battle one of the more daunting atmospheres in the league, the Richmond Kickers' City Stadium. Antelope Valley is fresh off of its first competitive win - a Tuesday night U.S. Open Cup victory against Ventura County Fusion - and will face a Richmond side eager to move on from its first league loss against Charlotte last week.
Saturday, March 22

Big picture

  • After a pair of positive results at home and a victory in Sarasota in the U.S. Open Cup, FC Naples will embark on its first true road trip of the season as the newcomers will face Spokane Velocity FC. After squandering a two-goal lead and dropping points against Knoxville last week, Spokane should be in a better position this weekend to end Naples' unbeaten streak.

Big picture

  • After a tough, extra-time loss against FORO SC in its first competitive match, Texoma FC will be eager to bounce back against One Knoxville SC on Saturday. The expansion side's League One home opener should provide a good indication of what the newcomers are capable of. For Knoxville, the four-year-old side will want to build on a positive result against Spokane in league play.

Discipline Report – Week 3

The following is USL League One's discipline report for Week 3 of the 2025 regular season.

Chattanooga Red Wolves SC's Tobi Jnohope has been suspended for one match following his red card for violent conduct against FC Naples on March 8 in regular season play. Jnohope will be unavailable for selection in Chattanooga's regular season contest against the Charlotte Independence on Friday, March 28.

NEWS & NOTES

RISING TALENTS SHINING BRIGHT

Led by braces from Yaniv Bazini (TRM), Karsen Henderlong (NAP) and Mason Tunbridge (TRM), over half of the 21 goals scored in the first two weeks of the 2025 League One season were scored by players kicking off their first or second season as a professional. It's the first time since the inaugural 2019 campaign in which those players have accounted for more than 50% of the goals scored in the first two weeks.

In addition to the aforementioned trio, Richmond's Hayden Anderson, Naples' Andrés Ferrín, Chattanooga's Omar Hernandez, Spokane's Camron Miller and Greenville's Ben Zakowski all tallied goals to kick off their second professional seasons.

Goals scored by first or second-year professionals in opening two weeks of League One regular season:

  1. 2019 - 16/25 (64%)
  2. 2025 - 11/21 (52%)
  3. 2021 - 2/5 (40%)
  4. 2020 - 4/16 (25%)
  5. 2022 - 3/25 (12%)
  6. 2024 - 1/19 (5%)
  7. 2023 - 0/11 (0%)

ANOTHER WIN IN PARADISE

Following its thrilling stoppage-time victory against future League One foe Sarasota Paradise in the First Round of the 2025 U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, Naples has become the sixth team to kick off its inaugural USL League One campaign with an unbeaten streak of three or greater.

Longest unbeaten streak to begin inaugural League One season, across all competitions:

  1. OMA - 8 (2020)
  2. NTX - 7 (2019)
  3. TRM - 4 (2019)
  4. NAP - 3 (2025)
  5. CV - 3 (2022)
  6. TOR - 3 (2019)
