KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - One Knoxville SC today announced the signing of 26-year-old Irish forward Mark Doyle and 23-year-old Danish midfielder Mikkel Gøling, pending league and federation approval.

Mark Doyle joins Knoxville after spending eight years as a professional in his native Ireland and is just a season removed from leading Rhode Island FC to the 2024 USL Championship Final.

Doyle developed with Drogheda United FC before turning pro with the Irish side in 2016. The forward spent six seasons with Drogheda United between 2016-21, racking up 144 appearances, 50 goals and 16 assists across League of Ireland Premier Division, League of Ireland First Division, League of Ireland Cup and FAI Cup play.

Doyle spent the 2022 and 2023 Premier Division seasons with St. Patrick's Athletic FC, helping the Saints claim the 2023 FAI Cup through his 73 appearances and 21 goal contributions across all competitions. Three of his 73 appearances with the club came in UEFA Conference League qualification.

The Irishman joined USL Championship expansion side Rhode Island FC ahead of its debut 2024 season. Doyle registered 32 appearances and three goal contributions across all competitions for the side, helping RIFC win the Eastern Conference and advance to the USL Championship Final.

Mikkel Gøling heads to Knoxville following a four-year collegiate career with Young Harris College (2021-22) and the University of California, Santa Barbara (2023-24).

Before moving to the United States, the Copenhagen, Denmark native developed with Fremad Amager, AB Tårnby and Boldklubben 1908. Gøling was an unused substitute for Fremad Amager in a 2018 Danish 1st Division match and a 2019 Danish Cup match. He made his senior team debut with Boldklubben 1908 in a Danish Cup contest in September 2020.

In the U.S., Gøling tallied 23 goals and 10 assists at Young Harris and four goals and five assists at UCSB. Gøling has been recognized as the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year (2021), All-Peach Belth Conference First Team (2021, 2022), and All-Big West First Team (2023, 2024). Gøling also spent time in USL League Two with Kings Hammer FC and Ventura County Fusion.
