LANCASTER, Calif. - AV ALTA FC today announced the signing of 21-year-old Benin youth international midfielder Maboumou Alassane, pending league and federation approval and receipt of ITC.

Alassane joined Benin Premier League side Coton FC in July 2022. As a captain for the club, the midfielder helped secure back-to-back league titles and also made three CAF Champions League appearances for the side.

A current Benin youth international, Alassane represented Les Guépards at the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. In 2024, Alassane represented Benin's U-20 national team at the 2023 African Games in Ghana.
