SHERMAN, Texas - Texoma FC today announced the signing of 28-year-old winger Donald Benamna, pending league and federation approval.
Born in Bangui, Central African Republic, Benamna moved to the United States and played collegiately at San Diego State University (2014), San Jacinto College (2015) and the University of Central Arkansas (2017). Benamna also spent time in USL League Two with the Ocean City Nor'easters (2016) and Little Rock Rangers (2018-19).
Benamna made his professional debut with NISA's Stumptown Athletic AC in 2019, scoring twice in three appearances with the club. He returned to USL League Two in 2022 with the Charlotte Eagles before signing with NISA's Maryland Bobcats FC in 2022.
In 2023, Benamna made 11 appearances across all competitions with Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC. He scored the Hailstorm's winning goal against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in the Second Round of the 2023 U.S. Open Cup. Recently, Benamna has represented Moroccan side US Amal Tiznit.
A former Central African Republic international, the winger made three senior national team appearances with Les Fauves between 2020 and 2023 in Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
