KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - One Knoxville SC today announced its first pair of new additions ahead of its fourth season, adding 23-year-old defender Jaheim Brown and 28-year-old forward Babacar Diene, pending league and federation approval.

Brown joins Knoxville after beginning his professional career in the Jamaica Premier League with Waterhouse FC. Brown made his professional debut with the club in March 2024 and went on to total 27 appearances, one goal and one assist for Waterhouse across regular season and postseason play.

"I'm extremely excited for Jaheim to join us from Waterhouse in Jamaica," said Knoxville Head Coach Ian Fuller, "He's an extremely talented and energetic full-back with an incredibly high ceiling; Jaheim's abilities on both sides of the ball are massive. I wouldn't want to play against him, thankfully we won't have to."

Knoxville also adds Diene, who is coming off his first professional season with Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in the USL Championship. Across all competitions a season ago, Diene provided one goal and two assists through 25 appearances with the Hounds.

Prior to his time in Pittsburgh, Diene played collegiately at Rider University in 2022 and 2023, helping the Broncs emerge victorious in the 2023 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship through his match-winning goal in the Final against Iona. The Senegalese forward also scored Rider's lone goal in the 2023 NCAA Men's College Cup in a First Round loss against Vermont.

In 2022, Diene spent time with FC Motown in both USL League Two and NPSL, helping the club win the 2022 NPSL National Championship.

"Babacar is a talented, hardworking center forward that is highly motivated to score goals," said Fuller, "He's got the right mentality and work rate for that position. We're itching to work with Babacar to get him scoring goals and contributing in attacking areas."
