MADISON, Wis. - Forward Madison FC today announced it has signed 21-year-old Brazilian-American forward Adrien Graffin on loan from Campeonato Brasileiro Série B side Amazonas FC, pending league and federation approval. The move is the first player transaction produced by the newly formed sporting partnership between Madison and Amazonas.
A native of Winfield, Ill., Graffin developed in the United States with St. Francis High School, the Chicago Mustangs, the Chicago Inferno, ICC Futures, and Barça Residency Academy USA, among other organizations. With the Chicago Inferno, Graffin won the 2017 USL Youth Finals (U-13) at IMG Academy.
In 2023, Graffin moved to Brazil and signed with Série B side Grêmio Novorizontino. After a short stint with Novorizontino's youth teams, Graffin signed with Andorran Primera Divisió side FC Ordino and made his professional debut with the top-flight side in November 2023. After three appearances with FC Ordino, the Brazilian-American signed with Macedonian First Football League side GFK Tikvesh 1930 in February 2024. With Tikvesh, Graffin made three league appearances and helped the 94-year-old side win its first Cup of Macedonia. Graffin returned to Brazil in July 2024, signing with Amazonas.
"Adrien is a young, exciting attacking player that we have added on loan for 2025," said Madison Head Coach and Technical Director Matt Glaeser. "We are happy to have him in our environment and are keen to see his qualities in person."
"I'm very grateful and excited to join the 'Mingos," said Graffin. "I will do my absolute best to help the club achieve its goals for the season and make the fans happy!"
