LANCASTER, Calif. - AV ALTA FC today announced the signing of 23-year-old midfielder Eduardo Blancas and 22-year-old Harrison Robledo, pending league and federation approval.
After spending time in the Real Salt Lake, LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes Academy, Blancas made his professional debut with The Town FC in 2022. Since then, Blancas has totaled 83 appearances with the Quakes’ reserve side.
Robledo started in the New York City FC Academy from 2016-20, contributing to their U-16 team's victory in the 2016 Generation Adidas Cup and playing a role in the U-18/19 Development National Championship team. In 2020, Robledo transitioned to the FC Cincinnati Academy, where he continued to develop his skills and was included in the first team's 2022 preseason camp.
On Feb. 25, 2022, FC Cincinnati acquired Robledo's MLS rights from New York City FC for $50,000 in General Allocation Money and signed him to a Homegrown player contract. He made his professional debut on Feb. 26, 2022, as a substitute in a match against Austin FC. In January 2023, Robledo was loaned to Indy Eleven, where he made 30 appearances and scored his first goal for the club on April 5, 2023, in the U.S. Open Cup against Michigan Stars FC.
