PAPILLION, Neb. – Union Omaha today announced the signing of French midfielder Kemy Amiche, pending league and federation approval. The 24-year-old Parisian will bring an attacking flair to the club as its first new signing, augmenting its title defense in 2025.
Amiche began his career in the French fourth and fifth divisions with FC Lorient B and Dinan Léhon FC before moving to the United States to play collegiately at Campbell University. In two seasons with the Fighting Camels, Amiche totaled 16 goals and 16 assists in 34 matches, winning a regular season title and earning First-Team All-Big South honors in 2022.
In 2022, Amiche helped Asheville City SC advance to the USL League Two Eastern Conference Semifinals. With 12 goals and four assists in only 12 appearances with the club, Amiche was named to the 2022 USL League Two All-Southern Conference Team.
Amiche signed with MLS side Nashville SC in 2023, making his professional debut with the club's developmental squad, Huntsville City FC, in MLS NEXT Pro on March 26, 2023. The midfielder made 27 appearances with HCFC in the 2023 season and notched eight goals and six assists to be named Huntsville City FC's 2023 Player of the Year.
Recently, Amiche played for fourth-division French side US Thionville Lusitanos.
"Kemy is an exciting player that will make our attack more dangerous and unpredictable," said Omaha Head Coach Dominic Casciato. "He's coming here to establish himself at a first-team level after some stellar performances at Huntsville in 2023, and I am looking forward to working with him as we aim to improve our team for 2025."
"I'm very happy and proud to join this club!" said Amiche. "Very excited to meet my teammates, the staff and the fans, and I'm ready to win!"
