NAPLES, Fla. - FC Naples today announced the signing of 19-year-old midfielder Tyler Pasnik, pending league and federation approval.
"Tyler has a very exciting profile," said Naples Head Coach Matt Poland. "We want to be known as a club that gives opportunities to young players to take the next steps in their career. Tyler has all the potential to take this opportunity and showcase his talents."
A native of Bishopton, Scotland, Pasnik developed within the academy of Scottish Premiership side Rangers FC. He progressed through the academy ranks, moving from the youth system to Rangers FC U-18 in 2021, later advancing to Rangers FC B in 2023. In the 2022-23 season, Pasnik made seven appearances for Rangers FC B in Scottish Lowland Football League play.
In May 2024, Pasnik moved to the United States and signed with MLS NEXT Pro side Huntsville City FC, the developmental arm of MLS side Nashville SC. With HCFC, Pasnik made 10 appearances and provided a pair of goal contributions.
Eligible to play for the United States through his father, Pasnik was called up to the United States U-19 Men's National Team for a training camp in January 2023.
