NAPLES, Fla. - FC Naples announced the addition of 28-year-old midfielder Ian Cerro and 24-year-old defender Max Glasser, pending league and federation approval.

Cerro, an Aurora, Colo. native, played collegiately at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (2016-17) and pre-professionally with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC's former USL League Two affiliate (2018). In 2019, the midfielder signed with Cañuelas FC in Argentina's third-division Primera B Metropolitana.

Cerro returned to the United States in 2021 and signed with NPSL side FC Milwaukee Torrent, earning 2021 NPSL National XI honors. Cerro made his professional debut with NISA's Chicago House AC before spending the 2022 NISA campaign with Chattanooga FC. Cerro joined former USL Championship side Rio Grande Valley FC in 2023 and most recently appeared for NISA's Georgia Lions FC. Cerro was a two-time NISA Second-Team Best XI honoree.

"Ian is a great addition to the squad," said Naples Head Coach Matt Poland. "He has played for me in the past and understands the culture we are trying to create here. He brings a high level of work rate and passing abilities to the field."

A 2021 All-Big West Conference Second Team selection at the University of California, Davis, Glasser began his professional career in the USL Championship with Monterey Bay F.C. in 2023. Through a pair of seasons in Seaside, Glasser totaled 20 appearances across all competitions. The 24-year-old has previously been called into Nicaragua national team training camps.

"Max has been in the USL Championship the last few seasons. He is extremely athletic and dynamic which is something we value in our backline," said Poland.
