GREENVILLE, S.C. - Greenville Triumph SC today announced nine initial returnees ahead of the 2025 USL League One season. The League One original is coming off of its record-extending sixth consecutive postseason appearance.
Triumph SC has exercised contract options on defenders Pascal Corvino and Nate Shultz, midfielders Carlos Anguiano, Chapa Herrera and Ben Zakowski and forward Rodrigo Robles. Additionally, defender Evan Lee, midfielder Sebastián Velásquez and forward Leo Castro will return having been under contract for the 2025 season.
The club remains in discussions to bring back goalkeeper Gunther Rankenburg and defenders Brandon Fricke, Tyler Polak and Daniel Wu.
Triumph SC has declined contract options on goalkeeper Christian Garner, defenders Hayden Anderson, Hassan Gabo, Oliver Hald and Jamie Smith and midfielder Zion Scarlett. Additionally, forward Lyam MacKinnon's contract has expired, and forward Federico Stachuk's loan from Carolina Core FC has expired.
