PORTLAND, Maine - USL League One expansion side Portland Hearts of Pine on Thursday evening unveiled its inaugural home kit, the 'Woods & Water Jersey,' in front of 1,500 people, including Maine Governor Janet Mills, at the State Theater in Portland.

The kit - manufactured by Danish sportswear giant, Hummel - was co-designed by Hearts' executive creative director Burke Cherrie and club founder Gabe Hoffman-Johnson. Hearts also revealed at the event that the club's inaugural kits will feature Visit Maine, the state's tourism office, as its front-of-kit sponsor and L.L. Bean, the Freeport, Maine-based retail company, as its sleeve sponsor through a new partnership. 

"I'm proud to be from Maine. This is our team. I'm wearing something that represents all of us as people, as a community, no matter who you are, where you come from," Hoffman-Johnson said at the event.
