TAMPA, Fla. – No. 1 Union Omaha will host No. 7 Spokane Velocity FC at Werner Park on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. ET in the 2024 USL League One Final. The decisive match of the most expansive edition of the USL League One Playoffs will be broadcast on CBS Sports Golazo Network.

The back-to-back USL League One Players' Shield winners and top-seeded Omaha finished the regular season with the second-most points per game in USL League One history (2.18) and set new single-season league records for goals per game (2.14) and goal differential (+23). Led by 2023 USL League One Coach of the Year Dominic Casciato, the Owls advanced to the USL League One Final for a record-tying third time through Quarterfinal and Semifinal victories against the No. 8 Richmond Kickers and No. 4 Greenville Triumph SC. Omaha is a win away from becoming the first team in league history to win the USL League One Final twice.

First-year expansion side Spokane limped into the postseason, carrying a seven-match winless streak with them into the USL League One Playoffs - tied for the most in league history among postseason-bound teams. The newcomers put a quick end to their winless streak, though, as Velocity FC kicked off its first postseason participation with a stunning result against No. 2 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC, thumping the 2024 USL Jägermeister Cup champions, 3-0, to become the lowest seed to ever win a USL League One Playoffs match. From there, the expansion side rode the momentum into Madison, shutting out No. 3 Forward Madison FC through regular and extra time and ultimately advancing to the USL League One Final through the first penalty kick shootout victory in club history. Spokane is a win away from becoming the first expansion side in league history to win the USL League One Final in its inaugural season.

Across USL League One and USL Jägermeister Cup play this season, Omaha and Spokane have played to an even 2-2-0 series; Omaha's 2024 USL League One Player of the Year finalist, Pedro Dolabella, and Spokane's 2024 USL League One All-League First Team midfielder and former Owl, Luis Gil, lead the series in scoring with three goals each.

The 2024 USL League One Final marks the fourth time in league history and first time since 2021 that the USL League One Players' Shield winner has advanced to the USL League One Final. The match also serves as the third consecutive USL League One Final in which a No. 5 seed or lower has advanced to the culminating contest.
