LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club announced on Friday the club had acquired forward Kameron Lacey on loan from San Antonio FC of the USL Championship for the remainder of the 2024 USL League One season.
Lacey will be available for selection when Lexington faces Forward Madison FC on Saturday night at Toyota Stadium.
The 23-year-old joins Lexington having recorded two assists in 16 appearances for San Antonio in the Championship this season. Lacey has also recorded 21 shots and seven shots on target for SAFC while contributing nine chances created.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kameron to Lexington,” said Head Coach Darren Powell. “His talent and experience will be invaluable to our squad, and we are confident that he will make an immediate impact on the field.”
Prior to joining San Antonio, Lacey competed for Minnesota United 2 of MLS NEXT Pro, where he recorded nine goals, two assists and 17 chances created in 20 appearances for the club in the 2023 season.
