Knoxville have continued to assert its dominance against Barrel Brawl rival Lexington, handing LSC its first USL Jägermeister Cup loss and remaining undefeated against the second-year side.
6 Spokane Velocity FC

After nearly grabbing a result in its first meeting with Omaha back in May, Spokane will visit the home of the Players’ Shield holders in a consequential West Group clash on Thursday evening.

After dropping a tough contest against rivals Greenville on Sunday, the Ibises will return to national television with a chance to extend their winning streak to three at Breese Stevens Field against a red-hot Madison side.

If not for a sensational goal from Madison’s Juan Galindrez - Chattanooga’s all-time leading scorer - the Red Wolves may have been able to snag a point or two against the ‘Mingos. Instead, the result is a fourth loss across five previous matches.

Lexington’s rough campaign continued with a loss against Barrel Brawl rival Knoxville on Saturday. Still, Lexington is certainly still in contention to challenge for the top of a competition Central Group.

Coming out on the wrong end of an entertaining match against rival Northern Colorado, Fuego FC’s unbeaten streak has stretched to 10 - only four matches shy of tying a club record set last season.
