'Mingos flock to their rightful place atop Power Rankings

It's just about USL Jägermeister Cup time once again, but first, we wrap up Week 10 of the regular season in Chattanooga on Wednesday. In the Prinx Tires USL League One Power Rankings, we take a look at how each team is progressing as the season unfolds.

Average Ranking: 5		 The ‘Mingos have confirmed a club record with five consecutive victories across all competitions and are coming off a massive 4-1 victory against Lexington. Madison’s next home match on June 15 will serve as its national television debut.
2 Union Omaha

Average Ranking: 2		 In a 2-1 defeat to Northern Colorado, Omaha recorded what was technically its first loss at Werner Park in over a year. With a win against Chattanooga on Wednesday, though, the Owls can return to the top of the table.
3 Greenville Triumph SC
LEAGUE: (5-3-1)
CUP: (1-0-2)
Week 10: L v CHA		 1
Last Week: 2
Average Ranking: 3		 Greenville - the league’s winningest club - lost to a team in 10th place or lower for the sixth time in its history and first time in over a year last week, as Triumph SC suffered a shock defeat against Chattanooga.
4 Charlotte Independence
LEAGUE: (3-2-2)
CUP: (0-1-2)
Week 10: T v TRM
Last Week: 4
Average Ranking: 5		 After a week off, the Jacks will seek their first victory across all competitions since May 3 as they face former USL Championship foe Richmond for the 19th time in a series dating back 10 seasons.
5 Spokane Velocity FC
LEAGUE: (3-3-1)
CUP: (1-0-2)
Round 3: T (L,PK) v GVL		 1
Last Week: 6
Average Ranking: 7		 The league’s newcomers were off last weekend but did manage to take down CD Guadalajara’s U-23 team in the former’s first international friendly. Next Thursday, Velocity FC will travel to Omaha for the first time in a pivotal mid-season contest.
6 One Knoxville SC
LEAGUE: (4-2-1)
CUP: (1-2-0)
Week 10: L v RIC		 1
Last Week: 5
Average Ranking: 4		 Knoxville have lost back-to-back matches for only the second time this season, losing to Madison and Richmond on May 25 and June 1, respectively. One Knox will feel it has a solid chance to return to winning ways as it hosts Barrel Brawl rival Lexington on Saturday.
7 South Georgia Tormenta FC
LEAGUE: (3-4-2)
CUP: (0-2-1)
Week 10: T @ CLT
Last Week: 7
Average Ranking: 8		 Since that massive 4-0 victory against Chattanooga on May 18, South Georgia has only scored two goals and picked up one point across two matches. The Ibises have a tough, six-day stretch starting Sunday as they host Greenville on June 9 before hitting the road to take on Madison on national television on June 15.
8 Richmond Kickers
LEAGUE: (2-4-2)
CUP: (1-1-1)
Week 10: W @ KNX
Last Week: 8
Average Ranking: 9		 After three consecutive draws against Knoxville, Richmond grabbed its first win against the third-year side in a 2-1 victory last week. A win against Charlotte on Saturday would confirm the Kickers’ first three-match winning streak across all competitions since the end of their Players’ Shield-winning 2022 season.
9 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC
LEAGUE: (1-2-2)
CUP: (1-0-2)
Week 10: W @ OMA		 1
Last Week: 10
Average Ranking: 8		 Now riding a five-match unbeaten run, the Hailstorm downed Union Omaha at Werner Park to grab their first League One victory of the season. Northern Colorado will now look to take advantage of back-to-back home matches for the first time since October 2023 as they host Central Valley and Knoxville.
10 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC
LEAGUE: (2-2-1)
CUP: (1-2-0)
Week 10: W @ GVL		 1
Last Week: 11
Average Ranking: 10		 Chattanooga’s up-and-down season has continued, most recently featuring a resounding victory on the road against first-place Greenville. A pair of massive tests await Scott Mackenzie’s side as they host Omaha and Madison in back-to-back matches.
11 Lexington SC
LEAGUE: (1-4-2)
CUP: (2-0-1)
Week 10: L @ MAD		 2
Last Week: 9
Average Ranking: 7		 One of the biggest disappointments early this season, Lexington has failed to claim all three points in a league match since March 15 and were handled in Madison against the ‘Mingos.
12 Central Valley Fuego FC
LEAGUE: (1-6-0)
CUP: (0-0-3)
Round 3: T(L,PK) @ OMA
Last Week: 12
Average Ranking: 11		 Off last week, Central Valley have struggled in league play but are still unbeaten in USL Jägermeister Cup play. Fuego FC will look to knock off West Group-leading Northern Colorado in Windsor on Saturday evening.
