TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the four nominees for the League One Player of the Month presented by Konami eFootball for May, with top performers from the sixth season's third month selected for the ballot.
Voting for the League One Player of the Month award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:

A fan vote on USLLeagueOne.com will comprise 60% of the poll. The fan vote will run through Monday, June 10 at 5 p.m. ET.

The USL Technical Committee’s ballots comprise 40% of the poll.
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Tuesday, June 11.
Please note: The League One Player of the Month selection process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Player of the Year or position players of the year. Additionally, the selection process does not take USL Jägermeister Cup matches into consideration.
USL LEAGUE ONE PLAYER OF THE MONTH NOMINEES – May
- F - Christian Chaney, Forward Madison FC: One of only two players in League One history to score more than 10 goals with multiple teams, FMFC's all-time leading scorer across all competitions recorded one goal and two assists in a perfect 2-0-0 May. Across 116 minutes, the 29-year-old USL veteran scored once in a 3-2 victory against first-place Greenville before recording the first multi-assist match of his career in a 3-0 victory at Spokane.
- M - Pedro Dolabella, Union Omaha: Across a pair of May matches, the São Paulo FC youth product and national champion at Marshall University registered two goals and two assists. Dolabella helped Omaha to a pair of big wins in May with 13 recoveries, 11 completed long passes, 11 duels won, four shots on target and a 78% passing accuracy across 180 minutes of action.
- M - Joe Gallardo, Union Omaha: Since returning to League One a season ago, the former United States youth international and Liga MX midfielder has enjoyed continued success. Gallardo exploded for one goal and two assists against South Georgia - the first three-goal-contribution match of his career - and rounded out the month with a total of 166 minutes, 13 recoveries, 12 duels won, six chances created and an 81% passing accuracy.
- F - Sebastián Vivas, South Georgia Tormenta FC: Vivas joined South Georgia over the offseason following a successful career in the Argentine lower divisions and has continued his production stateside. Vivas tallied three goals, one assist, 13 duels won, five chances created, four shots on target and an 85% passing accuracy across 165 minutes of action.
