Summary

1 Union Omaha
LEAGUE: (4-0-1)
CUP: (0-1-1)
Week 9: W @ CLT

Last Week: 1
Average Ranking: 2
After losing back-to-back matches across all competitions for the first time since June 2023 and for just the sixth time in club history, Omaha bounced back with a 4-1 drubbing of Charlotte - a final tally tied for its third-largest victory in club history.
2 Greenville Triumph SC
LEAGUE: (5-2-1)
CUP: (1-0-2)
Round 3: T (W,PK) @ SPK

Last Week: 2
Average Ranking: 3
Greenville are sitting pretty atop both the league table and East Group standings after picking up eight of a possible nine points across its last few USL League One and USL Jägermeister Cup matches.
3 Forward Madison FC
LEAGUE: (3-0-3)
CUP: (2-1-0)
Round 3: W v KNX

Last Week: 3
Average Ranking: 5
The ‘Mingos are soaring at the moment, as their four consecutive victories across all competitions ties a club record. Madison have outscored its last four opponents 9-3 and posted back-to-back clean sheets courtesy of Bernd Schipmann in goal.
4 Charlotte Independence
LEAGUE: (3-2-1)
CUP: (0-1-2)
Round 3: T (L,PK) @ NCO
1
Last Week: 5
Average Ranking: 5
The Jacks bounced back from a three-match losing streak across all competitions with a 2-2 draw - and subsequent 4-2 shootout loss - to take a point away from Northern Colorado in the latter’s home opener.
5 One Knoxville SC
LEAGUE: (4-1-1)
CUP: (1-2-0)
Round 3: L @ MAD
1
Last Week: 4
Average Ranking: 4
After that hot start to its second season in the league, Knoxville have won only two matches since the end of March. The concession of a goal in the 19th minute against the ‘Mingos confirmed defeat in Madison.
6 Spokane Velocity FC
LEAGUE: (3-3-1)
CUP: (1-0-2)
Round 3: T (L,PK) v GVL

Last Week: 6
Average Ranking: 7
In its second meeting with Greenville, Spokane held the league’s all-time winningest club and current table toppers scoreless in regulation before narrowly falling, 5-4, in the following penalty kick shootout.
7 South Georgia Tormenta FC
LEAGUE: (3-4-1)
CUP: (0-2-1)
Round 3: L v RIC

Last Week: 7
Average Ranking: 8
Like Knoxville, South Georgia was on fire to kick off 2024 before hitting a wall in mid-April. Tormenta FC has won just one of its last seven matches across all competitions and is coming off a loss to Richmond thanks to a brace by former Ibis, Adrian Billhardt.
8 Richmond Kickers
LEAGUE: (1-4-2)
CUP: (1-1-1)
Round 3: W @ TRM

Last Week: 8
Average Ranking: 9
The Kickers finally snapped their seven-match winless streak across all competitions courtesy of a first-professional brace from Adrian Billhardt against his former club.
9 Lexington SC
LEAGUE: (1-3-2)
CUP: (2-0-1)
Round 3: W @ CHA

Last Week: 9
Average Ranking: 7
After flipping from a losing position to a winning position during second-half stoppage time, Lexington have quietly put together a streak of four consecutive unbeaten matches, winning nine of a possible 12 points during that stretch.
10 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC
LEAGUE: (0-2-2)
CUP: (1-0-2)
Round 3: T (W,PK) v CLT

Last Week: 10
Average Ranking: 8
The Hailstorm finally returned to Colorado for their home opener last weekend and picked up two points with a draw and eventual penalty shootout victory against Charlotte. Northern Colorado are continuing to gain momentum as the season nears its midway point, winning seven of a possible 12 points in its last four contests.
11 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC
LEAGUE: (1-2-1)
CUP: (1-2-0)
Round 3: L v LEX

Last Week: 11
Average Ranking: 10
A Mayele Malango masterclass was unfortunately overshadowed by a colossal collapse against Lexington last weekend. Going down a man with 15 minutes remaining still isn’t a great excuse to concede a pair of goals - including the eventual winner - in second-half stoppage time.
12 Central Valley Fuego FC
LEAGUE: (1-6-0)
CUP: (0-0-2)
Week 9: L v KNX

Last Week: 12
Average Ranking: 11
It’s certainly been far from pretty in Jermaine Jones’ first season at the helm of Central Valley. Fuego FC hasn’t won a match since March 20 but surprisingly will have a chance to top its USL Jägermesiter Cup group with a big win against Union Omaha on Wednesday evening.
