USL League One officially kicked off its sixth season on March 9, and all 12 clubs have finally made their season debut.

Average Ranking: 2		 Lexington top the table for the first time in club history. Despite Chattanooga pressing for a goal throughout the majority of the match, Lexington pulled out an unlikely, late winner courtesy of its Malta international, Yannick Yankam.
3 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC

Last Week: 3
Average Ranking: 3		 One of the preseason favorites is still searching for its first goal of the season after recording a scoreless draw with Lexington in Week 1. The Hailstorm will face the leakiest defense in the league on Saturday as they venture to Spokane for the first time.
4 Greenville Triumph SC

Last Week: 6
Average Ranking: 6		 Even though it had the week off, Triumph SC moves up a couple of spots thanks to some movement above them. Despite playing just one match, Greenville is tied for the most goals scored this season (3).
5 One Knoxville SC

Last Week: 7
Average Ranking: 6		 One of the more surprising early-season results, Knoxville handled Charlotte at American Legion Memorial Stadium thanks in large part to an Angelo Kelly-Rosales masterclass.
6 Forward Madison FC

Week 2: D @ TRM		 1
Last Week: 5
Average Ranking: 5		 The ‘Mingos did just about everything right in Statesboro, dominating the Ibises for more than 90 minutes. Unfortunately, Tormenta FC - with its first shot on target - scored a dramatic equalizer six minutes into stoppage time.
7 Charlotte Independence

Last Week: 4
Average Ranking: 5		 The Jacks looked flat in their season opener. Knoxville controlled the match in nearly every facet, handing the Independence their fifth home-opening loss across their 10 seasons.
8 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC

Last Week: 8
Average Ranking: 8		 The Red Wolves sit alone in last place but only due to a tough, one-goal loss to first-place Lexington on Friday.
9 Spokane Velocity FC

Week 2: W v RIC		 2
Last Week: 11
Average Ranking: 10		 The first-year side bounced back in a big way after a disappointing loss in Week 1. To the delight of a sold-out ONE Spokane Stadium, Velocity FC defeated Richmond, 2-1, in its inaugural home opener.
10 Richmond Kickers

Average Ranking: 10		 Yes, it’s very early, but things have not gone according to plan really since the Kickers claimed the 2022 Players’ Shield. Richmond have sat below the playoff line since July 2023.
11 Central Valley Fuego FC

Week 2: L v OMA		 1
Last Week: 10
Average Ranking: 11		 Fuego FC had twice as many shots on target as Omaha and maintained a majority of possession. A stout performance from a talented Omaha defense proved too much to overcome in Central Valley’s first loss of the season.
12 South Georgia Tormenta FC
(0-1-1)
Week 2: D v MAD
Last Week: 12
Average Ranking: 12		 Super sub Niall Watson salvaged a draw late in stoppage time against Madison on Saturday. Still, it’s the fourth time Tormenta FC has started winless through its first two league matches since joining League One in 2019.
