GREENVILLE, S.C. - Greenville Triumph SC today announced the signing of 2023 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's All-Atlantic Region forward Ben Zakowski, pending league and federation approval.

Playing and starting every match for Monmouth University since 2020, Zakowski will begin his professional career with Greenville after receiving 2023 United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region, 2023 First Team All-CAA, 2023 Second Team All-ECAC, and 2023 CAA All-Tournament Team accolades, among others.

Zakowski led the Hawks in points in his junior and senior seasons and netted six match-winning goals in 2023 - tied for the third most in the nation. In his final season, he steered Monmouth to a CAA regular season title and the CAA Tournament Final. Zakowski also became the seventh player in program history to earn all-region accolades three times in his career, the sixth player to score 12 goals in a single season, and finished fourth in career goals with 32.

"Ben will be a great addition to our team," Greenville Head Coach Rick Wright said. "He had a very good college career. He is very versatile, athletic and passionate about his play. He's extremely eager to learn."
