GREENVILLE, S.C. – Greenville Triumph SC announced on Monday the club had signed forward Mohamed Seye to his first professional contract ahead of the 2024 USL League One season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Seye joins the Triumph after a stellar four seasons at Clemson University, where he recorded 23 goals and 16 assists in just under 4,000 minutes of action. In the 2022 season he was voted to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Third Team, and this past season helped the Tigers claim the NCAA College Cup for the second time during his time with the program.

A native of Valencia, Spain, Seye ranked second on the team in goals (4) and assists (6) during his senior season, scoring his first career hat trick during the 6-0 shutout victory over Presbyterian College in 2023. He logged 39 minutes of action in the Tigers’ 2-1 victory against Notre Dame at Louisville City FC’s Lynn Family Stadium in the College Cup Final.

The 6-foot-4 striker now joins the Triumph, becoming the first Clemson alum to join GTSC since former Clemson captain, Paul Clowes, who played for the club in 2019 and 2020.
