BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Brooklyn FC today announced it has signed a multi-year agreement to play its home matches at Maimonides Park in historic Coney Island ahead of its planned 2025 kickoff.

Featuring a capacity of just over 7,000 spectators, renovated luxury suites, convenient train access and robust parking capabilities, Maimonides Park provides flexible accessibility for fans across Brooklyn and beyond. The stadium features a concourse with free-standing concessions and an amusement park atmosphere overlooking the Coney skyline and Atlantic Ocean.

"Coney Island is one of the most iconic places in the world and it has played an important role in the landscape and culture of Brooklyn for many generations," said Matt Rizzetta, chairman of North Sixth Group and principal owner of BKFC. "No city in the United States is built for professional soccer like Brooklyn, and what better place than Coney Island to call home."

Opened in 2001, Maimonides Park has been the longtime home of the New York Mets' High-A affiliate, the Brooklyn Cyclones. Maimonides Park has a history of hosting soccer, having been the home of the NASL's New York Cosmos for portions of the 2015 season and all of the 2017 season. Most recently, the venue hosted an international friendly between Salvadoran Primera División side CD Águila and Honduran Liga Nacional club CD Olimpia in March 2022.
