PAPILLION, Neb. – Union Omaha today announced the signing of forward Adam Aoumaich pending league and federation approval. The French-American dual national signed his first professional contract with the club after starring for Marshall University and will link up with former Marshall standout Pedro Dolabella in Omaha.

In 2017, Aoumaich graduated from Lycée Jean de la Fontaine in Paris, France after representing the school's soccer team. He briefly trained with both Championnat National 2 side Louhans-Cuiseaux FC and Régional 2 side AC Boulogne-Billancourt at the academy levels and attended La Sorbonne Université before coming to the United States.

The forward's American collegiate career began at the University of Albany, where played 24 matches over the course of 2020 and 2021. He also appeared for USL League Two side Manhattan SC seven times during this period.

His most successful spell came at Marshall University, where he was named the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Newcomer of the Year. Aoumaich also made the All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team following a regular-season conference title and tournament win. Over 36 matches with the Thundering Herd, Aoumaich scored seven times and provided 15 assists. His team entered the 2023 Division I Men's Soccer Tournament as the number-one seed.

"Adam is a talented young winger that's both exciting to watch and mature enough to understand that the team comes first at all times," said Omaha Head Coach Dominic Casciato. "He's been one of college soccer's most creative players in the last few years, and joins us from Marshall University, one of the top programs in the country, under Coach Chris Grassie. We look forward to welcoming him to the club as he takes his first steps as a professional."

"I'm so, so excited to be joining Union Omaha!" said Aoumaich. "I can't wait to hit the field with my teammates and make our fans proud."
