KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - One Knoxville SC today announced the signing of winger Kingsford Adjei, pending league and federation approval.

The 24-year-old joins One Knoxville SC after spending the last two seasons with South Georgia Tormenta FC in USL League One. He started in 28 matches and contributed with four goals and three assists across all competitions in 2023. In 2022 - his debut professional season - Adjei helped the Ibises to the first USL League One title with seven goals and two assists across 35 total appearances.

The Ghanaian attacker developed through the Right to Dream program before signing with Dayton University. Adjei was the 56th-overall selection in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft by New York City FC.

The pacey attacker reunites with Mark McKeever after the pair won the 2021 USL League Two title with the Des Moines Menace.

"Kingsford brings a lot of the athleticism and creativity that we lacked at times last season," McKeever said. "Kingsford is one I want to be around every day, his character is infectious in a positive way and his desire to train at the highest level is going to be integral for us in 2024."
