Amann's third career Player of the Week honor comes after record seventh brace

TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the Team of the Week for Week 29 of the 2023 regular season with Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC forward Trevor Amann named Player of the Week presented by Konami eFootball with his seventh brace of the 2023 season.

Racing toward goal all by himself thanks to a perfect through-ball from Danny Robles, Amann opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a strike from nearly 20 yards out. Just four minutes later, Amann completed his brace, heading in a well-placed Arthur Rogers corner kick. Amann's record seventh brace of the season positioned the Golden Boot leader with 22 goals on the season - an all-time league record - with two matches remaining in the regular season.

"I'm just going out there every night trying to do my job and help the team get more wins," Amann said.

"We have to take care of business on our end and we did that tonight," Hailstorm Head Coach Éamon Zayed said. "I thought it was a really, really good performance and obviously a great result."
