Penalty stops, diving denials up for Save of the Week

Not a bad collection of stops! Here are the saves we’ve selected as nominees for the USL League One Fans’ Choice Save of the Week, and it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media channels, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, Sept. 22 at 12:30 p.m. ET.

USL LEAGUE FANS’ CHOICE SAVE OF THE WEEK – WEEK 27

Pablo Jara (TRM) - #NCvTRM, Sept. 16: The veteran Ibis made a crucial, point-blank stop to help his side top first-place NCFC.

Brooks Thompson (NC) - #NCvTRM, Sept. 16: The North Carolina goalkeeper dove to tip away a Pedro Fonseca shot that was making its way to the top left corner.

Lalo Delgado (NCO) - #CVvNCO, Sept. 16: Delgado denied Alexis Cerritos from the spot, becoming the first goalkeeper in league history to save three penalties in a single season.

Austin Pack (CLT) - #LEXvCLT, Sept. 17: Nearing a single-season league record for saves, Pack denied a Lexington penalty from the spot.
