Summary

1 North Carolina FC
(13-5-5)
Week 25: v. CV

Last Week: 1
The top-of-the-table side held on to their position despite a loss to the Hailstorm on Saturday. Omaha, Northern Colorado and Charlotte are closing in on that top spot, though.
2 Union Omaha
(12-5-7)
Week 25: --

Last Week: 2
Those early-season jitters seem to be a distant memory as first-year Head Coach Dominic Casciato has positioned his side just one win away from the most consecutive victories in league history and a shot at the top of the table.
3 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC
(11-5-7)
Week 25: v. CLT

Last Week: 3
A much-needed victory for the Hailstorm - their first since July 22 - over first-place North Carolina is huge in the second-year side’s quest for the Players’ Shield and a playoff berth.
4 Charlotte Independence
(11-7-7)
Week 25: @ NCO

Last Week: 4
The Jacks have continued to put together a sneakily successful season in their second campaign in the league. With just one loss in its last five, Charlotte is back near the top of the table.
5 Forward Madison FC
(10-7-7)
Week 25: @ CHA

Last Week: 5
Tending to play down to the level of their opponents, the ‘Mingos are just 2-2-1 in their last five contests which have all come against clubs below the playoff line.
6 One Knoxville SC
(8-9-8)
Week 25: @ TRM
2
Last Week: 8
Knoxville may be making one of the more convincing late-season playoff pushes. The second-year side has reeled off a string of three impressive unbeaten matches as it nears the conclusion of its first season in the league.
7 South Georgia Tormenta FC
(9-11-5)
Week 25: v. KNX
1
Last Week: 6
Like Knoxville, South Georgia is unbeaten in three straight matches. Still, high-scoring draws against Northern Colorado and Chattanooga are a bit disappointing.
8 Greenville Triumph SC
(10-8-6)
Week 25: @ LEX
1
Last Week: 7
Greenville have slowed down a bit in recent weeks, sporting a 2-2-1 record. That said, a strong summer has positioned Triumph SC in a rather comfortable position above the playoff line with eight matches remaining.
9 Lexington SC
(7-11-6)
Week 25: v. GVL

Last Week: 9
Only red-hot Omaha (4) have more wins than Lexington (3) across their last five. Potentially just three victories away from a playoff position, it’ll be interesting to see what Lexington make of its remaining eight matches.
10 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC
(5-14-6)
Week 25: v. MAD
1
Last Week: 11
Chattanooga have all the pieces to be a solid contender. Unfortunately, the Red Wolves’ league-high 49 goals allowed have stunted their success.
11 Richmond Kickers
(6-10-10)
Week 25: v. CV (3-3)
1
Last Week: 10
In what would be the worst season in league history for a Players’ Shield holder, the Kickers have been held winless across their last 10 matches.
12 Central Valley Fuego FC
(5-15-4)
Week 25: v. MAD

Last Week: 12
After struggling to find the back of the net for much of the season, Fuego FC has netted seven goals in its last two matches. Unfortunately, neither match resulted in three points.
