Summary

1 North Carolina FC
(13-4-5)
Week 24: v. NCO

Last Week: 1
Riding its longest unbeaten streak since 2011, North Carolina’s 10-match unbeaten run is just the sixth time in League One history a club has gone undefeated in 10 or more consecutive matches. Just three more undefeated matches in a row and NCFC will hold the second-longest such streak in league history, passing Northern Colorado (2023) and Lansing (2019).
2 Union Omaha
(11-5-7)
Week 24: @ GVL

Last Week: 2
The Owls are two wins shy of topping Lansing Ignite FC’s all-time league record of six consecutive victories which has sat untouched since 2019. Omaha’s five consecutive victories are the most in club history and the longest win streak across the league since Oct. 2021.
3 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC
(10-5-6)
Week 24: @ TRM, @ NC
1
Last Week: 4
The good news for the Hailstorm is that they have the most matches remaining in the league. The bad news is that the second-year side is winless across a club-record five. A pair of Week 24 road trips to Statesboro and Cary won’t make things any easier for Northern Colorado.
4 Charlotte Independence
(11-7-6)
Week 24: @ KNX
1
Last Week: 5
With a solid position above the playoff line, the Jacks will savor the fact that five of their remaining eight matches will come against teams currently positioned below the playoff line. Charlotte are just a pair of wins and few other favorable results away from returning to the top of the table for the first time since April.
5 Forward Madison FC
(10-7-6)
Week 24: @ CV
2
Last Week: 3
The ‘Mingos have dropped back-to-back matches for just the second time this season, and in both instances, each loss was to a club below the playoff line. Madison are just 6-5-2 with a -3 goal differential against clubs outside of a playoff position and are set to face four consecutive opponents in such a position.
6 South Georgia Tormenta FC
(9-11-3)
Week 24: v. NCO, @ CHA
1
Last Week: 7
Should a few things go the way of the Ibises in Week 24, the defending champs could be just a win away from a playoff position for the first time since May. Just two goals away from setting a club record for most goals in a single regular season, a leaky defense won’t really matter if the offense continues to overproduce.
7 Greenville Triumph SC
(9-7-6)
Week 24: v. CHA, v. OMA
1
Last Week: 6
Greenville has enjoyed a special summer with a 6-2-5 record across its last 13 matches. Still, Triumph SC now must fend off rising challengers Knoxville and South Georgia as the trio will likely battle for the final playoff spot as the season begins to wind down.
8 One Knoxville SC
(8-9-7)
Week 24: v. CLT

Last Week: 8
Following a quick start to its first professional season followed by a slow summer, Knoxville has started to put it together again with three wins across its last five matches. The only other clubs to earn more than nine points across their last five? First-place North Carolina and second-place Omaha.
9 Lexington SC
(6-11-6)
Week 24: v. RIC

Last Week: 9
A pair of promising victories against Northern Colorado and Central Valley was followed up by a disappointing performance against rival Knoxville on Friday. With the most points won below expected across the league (6.1), according to American Soccer Analysis, Lexington can’t keep matches leads slip away.
10 Richmond Kickers
(6-9-9)
Week 24: @ LEX

Last Week: 10
At 1.1, the Kickers are on pace to record their least productive season from a points-per-match perspective since 2018. While Richmond have put together a third consecutive season of 30 or more goals, the difficulties have come on the defensive end of the pitch; the Kickers have conceded the most goals in their League One history (37) even with eight matches remaining.
11 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC
(5-13-5)
Week 24: @ GVL, v. TRM

Last Week: 11
On track to exceed North Carolina’s all-time league record of 53 goals conceded set just a season ago, the Red Wolves’ defense and goalkeeping have let the team down. On a positive note, the 2024 Red Wolves have accumulated the joint-second-most points gained from a losing position (16) and are tied for the fewest points dropped from winning positions (0) in league history.
12 Central Valley Fuego FC
(5-15-2)
Week 24: v. MAD

Last Week: 12
Currently on pace to surpass Orlando City B’s 2019 all-time league record of 20 losses in a single season by one, Fuego FC’s second season has not gone according to plan. Injuries, suspensions and poor performances have plagued Central Valley’s 2023 campaign.
