Arthur Rogers' three-assist performance earns the Londoner Player of the Week honors

TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the Team of the Week for Week 18 of the 2023 regular season with Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC defender Arthur Rogers named Player of the Week presented by Konami eFootball with his three-assist match in the midst of Northern Colorado's two-win week.

Halfway through his second season in both Northern Colorado and League One, the reigning Defender of the Year has already matched his assists total across all competitions (8). The 26-year-old Londoner started his two-match week by becoming just the fifth player in League One history to tally three assists in a single match in Northern Colorado's victory in Knoxville before finishing off the week with a 2-0 victory against Omaha that saw the Hailstorm retain their position atop the league table despite playing the fewest matches across the league.

"We knew there would be a lot of space in the fullback area, so credit to the coaches and my teammates for finding me there and letting me operate," Rogers said.

"It’s a really, really proud moment," Hailstorm Head Coach Éamon Zayed said after guiding his side to the top of the table. "To reach this summit halfway through year two is a testament to everybody involved with the club. But - and this is a massive but - our goal isn’t to just be top of the league for a few weeks or even at the end of the season, our goal is to win the USL League One Final."

Northern Colorado see a week-high four players named to the Team of the Week, while North Carolina, Richmond and South Georgia earn multiple spots across the Team of the Week and Team of the Week bench. In total, 10 clubs are represented in the Week 18 edition of the list.
