USL League One Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 16

In a week filled with shutouts, we also saw some top-level stops across the league, who gets your vote?

In a stellar week for goalkeeping overall in USL League One, with five goalkeepers claiming shutouts in six games, we also saw some outstanding individual moments that continued to shape the direction of the playoff race as the second half of the campaign kicked off. Here are the saves we’ve selected as nominees for the USL League One Fans’ Choice Save of the Week, and it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, July 7 at 12:30 p.m. ET.

USL League Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 16

Bernd Schipmann (MAD) - #TRMvMAD, June 28: Schipmann reacted quickly and dove to his left to punch away a quick shot attempt from Tormenta FC’s Kingsford Adjei as part of a road shutout that saw the Flamingos take victory.

TJ Bush (TRM) - #TRMvMAD, June 28: Bush reacted well to keep out a low, left-footed shot by Forward Madison’s Christian Chaney on a one-man counterattack at Optim Sports Medicine Field.

Austin Pack (CLT) - #NCvCLT, June 30: League One’s current saves leader made a sharp low stop to keep out a one-on-one opportunity for North Carolina FC's Shak Adams at WakeMed Soccer Park in the Dogwood Derby.

Will Palmquist (RIC) - #RICvCHA, July 1: Palmquist stepped up in place of regular starter, Akira Fitzgerald, and made an excellent save to keep out the effort of Chattanooga’s Ernesto Espinoza to the top-right corner as part of a four-save shutout.
