TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One today announced the five nominees for the League One Player of the Month presented by Konami eFootball for June, with top performers from the fifth season’s fourth month selected for the ballot.
Voting for the League One Player of the Month award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:

A fan vote on USLLeagueOne.com will comprise 60% of the poll. The fan vote will run through Tuesday, July 11 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The USL Technical Committee’s ballots comprise 40% of the poll.
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Wednesday, July 12.
Please note: The League One Player of the Month selection process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Most Valuable Player or position players of the year.
USL LEAGUE ONE PLAYER OF THE MONTH – June
- M – Ates Diouf (LEX) – Already matching his most productive professional season through just 14 matches, the Week 12 Player of the Week led Lexington in scoring with his three goal June. In addition to registering LSC’s first-ever brace, Diouf won a league-high 16 fouls and joing-league-high 37 duels to go along with his 17 recoveries, nine completed dribbles, five completed long balls and one penalty won.
- F – Billy King (NCO) – In his first season with Northern Colorado and first in the United States after a decorated career in Scotland and Ireland, King bookended the Hailstorm’s undefeated month with a pair of goals. King added to his two-goal, four-match month with 20 duels won, 17 recoveries, 10 dribbles completed, nine chances created and a 91% passing accuracy.
- F – Lyam MacKinnon (GVL) – MacKinnon recorded the match-tying goal against Omaha on June 10 before exploding for a league-record four goals against Chattanooga on June 21. The first-year professional recorded a goal every 63 minutes across four June matches, won 24 duels, placed seven shots on target, completed five dribbles and won five tackles across Greenville’s undefeated month.
- F – Garrett McLaughlin (NC) – After leading his club in scoring in each of the last two seasons, McLaughlin has shifted to more of a facilitator role, tallying the most assists in a single season of his career after adding two in June. The 25-year-old forward also scored one goal and totaled 18 duels won, five chances created and an 81% passing accuracy across just 198 minutes.
- F – Emiliano Terzaghi (RIC) – The league’s all-time leading scorer became the first player in league history to surpass the 50-goal mark with his five-goal June. The Kickers’ captain was responsible for all five of Richmond’s goal in June and won 15 duels, 10 fouls, 10 recoveries and two penalties to go along with his four chances created.
