Series (First Meeting): 5-2-2, MAD (2019)

WHAT MATTERS

  • 'Mingos making moves: A win at South Georgia on Wednesday evening would confirm Madison’s longest win streak in club history at four and push the League One original to the top of the table for the first time in its five-year history.
  • Championship hangover in Statesboro: Already the worst start to a season by a defending champion in league history, a loss or draw against Madison on Wednesday evening would match the second-longest winless streak in Tormenta FC history.
  • New digs to dominate: Madison maintains a dominating 5-2-2 all-time advantage in the series dating back to 2019, as South Georgia has only defeated FMFC in the pair's first (May 2019) and last (Sept. 2022) meetings. The 'Mingos will look to extend their 2-0-1 undefeated record in Statesboro as they make their Tormenta Stadium debut.
PLAYER TO WATCH

  • Jake Crull (MAD): The first-year 'Mingo defender scored his second goal in three matches and helped Madison to victory with his five clearances, five recoveries, three duels won and 85% passing accuracy to earn a spot on the Team of the Week.
AVAILABILITY REPORT

  • TRM: M - Matheus Cassini (questionable, injury), D - Preston Kilwien (questionable, injury)
  • MAD: M - Julio Benitez (out, injury), F - Mauro Cichero (out, suspension)
